So last year we started organising craft workshops hosted by amazing local businesses. And they've been a huge success ...
We're super excited to reveal the workshops for our market on Saturday 28th March.
So this time we had so many wonderful businesses apply to hold a workshop and we’ve picked a selection that we hope you’ll love! And don’t worry if you didn’t get chosen this time, we will be bringing workshops back in June …
This schedule has got some really fun, different crafts that we are all very jealous that you will be able to book !!

10:30-12:30 £65 per person 12+
Join Sara from Cloud Nine Knits for a fun and relaxing morning learning how to arm knit an on-trend cosy throw measuring approx 80cm x 130cm. You’ll be using giant vegan unspun acrylic yarn by Woolly Mahoosive. No experience of knitting required !!
- A 2kg ball of yarn in the colour of your choice (please choose in advance)
A bag to take your throw home in
You will receive a colour chart when you book so you can confirm your colour choice!
Please note that your beautiful throw is made from unspun acrylic fibre and is a decorative item. It will not withstand heavy use without substantial pilling and bobbling.
1pm - 2pm £16.50 per person 12+
Make your own Mandala masterpiece with Alessandra! Learn this meditative craft that has its origins in ancient religion and is now used as a mindfulness activity. It’s a fantastic craft to focus the mind and leave your troubles behind. Perfect if you want to discover a new painting technique to continue experimenting with at home!
1pm - 2:30pm £25 per person 14+
Join Tammy in this introductory class to linocut printing on fabric. You will carve your own stamp in lino using gouge tools and then print a tote bag with heat-set ink to take away. Your stamp can be used at home to print your own t-towels, napkins and more!
All materials are provided and no prior experience is necessary although it speeds up workflow if you come prepared with ideas for a simple motif which can be stamped in multiple colours or directions.

Join Renée AKA The Girl who Gardens to learn how to make a Kilner Jar Terrarium and bring some botanical charm to your home !
Terrariums were first created in the Victorian era, came back into fashion in the 70s and have now returned as we realise the benefits of greening our lives and homes. In essence they are a garden in a sealed glass container. The sealed container makes a micro-climate which means these little green oasis are really easy to look after! Renée will provide all the materials and plants for you to enjoy the process of making your very own Kilner Jar Terrarium to take home. 3pm - 4pm £15 per person 12+
Join Kirsty at the latest Mixed Media A5 Tag workshop using Powertex - a universal liquid fabric hardener.
Using a variety of fabric, embellishments and amazing colors, you can make a piece of art that will be unique to you.
Powertex is completely versatile. This is an ideal time to try a taster session.
Water resistant & using as much recycling materials as possible.
Size of the finished tag is: 21cmx10.5cm

We will then send you a paypal invoice which must be paid to reserve your space ... if it is not paid after 5 days we do reserve the right to offer your space to another customer.
