The Crafter's Workshop...

They are here and we are so excited! We have recruited 6 wonderful crafters to run 6 creative workshops for you to enjoy ... and there may even be a sneaky giveaway !!

From printing and needle felting to calligraphy and patchwork there's always going to be something to try your hand at! We asked you what crafts you'd like to learn and have gone from there, finding those crafts as well as other ones we hope you'll enjoy. So here is the schedule ...

3pm- 4pm

The Craftsy Creator Modern Calligraphy

How it all works..

There are 8 spaces per workshop ... most workshops will have 6 spaces to pre book before the market. We are then going to have a couple of places available to book at the market so that people who come along on the day can book in! We recommend that you pre book as obviously there is a risk that workshops will fill up before you get to the market.

Each workshop will differ in length of time and price. Below are details about each workshop, what you will learn and create as well as anything you'll take home. The wonderful crafters have also supplied photos of what you will create ! (Please note if you are booking more than one workshop- some workshop times may overlap)

To book either send us a message on Facebook or Instagram or email us at craftersmarketsurrey@gmail.com .Spaces will go on a first come first serve basis and payment will need to be made to confirm your space. We will be taking payment through Paypal (don't worry you do not need a PayPal account to pay using PayPal!) and will send you an invoice.

So here are the workshops along with links to the wonderful local businesses who are running them ...

10:30 - 11:30am

Join Renée AKA The Girl who Gardens to make a May Flower Crown to celebrate Spring.  Using a wired base she will show you how to add foliage, flowers and hedgerow treasure to create your own beautiful and whimsical crown from nature’s own bling.  Spring Flowers were traditionally collected on Mayday to decorate houses, churches, maypoles and to make Garlands and Crowns to celebrate Beltane and the fertility of the warmer seasons.

Here at The Crafter’s Market we’ll make and celebrate Spring together. Providing it is dry on the day this workshop will be held outside, we recommend suitable layers in case the great British weather is temperamental!! If it is wet we will move the workshop inside ...

£15 per person - 8 pre-bookable spaces
